Cotton Tree has a unique appeal, its location next to the Maroochy River, surfing beaches, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer sets it aside as a very special location. Add to this the special appeal that Cotton tree imparts to everyone and you have one of those iconic locations of the future in the making.
The Maroochydore area is acknowledged as the hub of the Sunshine Coast and much is planned for this region to establish its coastal cosmopolitan feel. Future plans involve transport hubs breaking our reliance on the motor vehicle and development of a centre of community activity for the entire coast. All in all a very exciting future and one that we have recognized as vital to future residential living.
Thus Riverwalk Residences was planned for a location that was within easy walking distance of all that Maroochydore has to offer now and in the future. It was very important that the location avoided any negative aspect of a growing community such as traffic, noise and congestion. We believe we selected well and the apartments planned are house size to maintain the standard of living you rightly deserve.
The challenge was to build something very special, an alternative to living in a high maintenance house but without the complications of a large mixed use apartment complex. We identified the need to provide house sized comfort and amenity in a low maintenance, easy living and friendly community. In addition to this we carefully reviewed the costs of maintaining an average house and ensured that body corporate expenses reflected an improvement on these. We have attached a comparison which you may find surprising as often the costs and hard work of maintaining a house are overlooked.
